Financing & Purchase Options
Customers can finance, lease, or pay in-full at Amazon Autos.
To secure financing during the checkout process, customers fill out and submit a credit application. They then receive a financing offer from you and can accept that offer. Once the customer accepts, you then prepare and electronically send contract documents to the customer to sign.

Service & Protection Products
Offer Service and Protection Products (SPPs) directly in the checkout flow. Dealers set the product pricing and establish overrides. For new cars, SPPs are offered through OEM-products, like Hyundai’s protection product suite. For used and certified pre-owned cars, ExtraProtect administered by Safe-Guard allows for seamless integration with most dealership footprints across the US and is currently the only suite of protection products supported on Amazon Autos.
Limited Warranty
For customer peace of mind, all used vehicles purchased at Amazon Autos come with a complimentary limited warranty. Dealers may offer their own qualifying complimentary warranty that meets Amazon Autos’ minimum standards. Or dealers can take advantage of the ExtraProtect limited warranty, administered by Safe-Guard.
Return Policy
Used or certified pre-owned vehicles may be returned within three days of pickup, provided the vehicle meets all the return policy requirements.
To be eligible, returns must be initiated within the three-day window and completed within 48 hours of request. Vehicles must be returned to the dealership in the same condition with no more than 300 miles added to the odometer and no new damage or mechanical issues.

Sell My Car (Beta)
Sell My Car is a new vehicle acquisition tool that helps dealers source quality used-car inventory from customers who want to sell their vehicles at Amazon. Customers receive a valuation online, then drop off their car at a participating dealership. Participating dealers can purchase these vehicles or return them to ACV’s private Amazon Autos auction, creating a flexible way to acquire quality inventory directly from customers, access more vehicles you might not otherwise appraise in your local area, and grow your used-car business.

What is the Amazon Autos customer experience?

Customers choose a car, compare pricing, choose their purchase type (finance, lease, pay-in-full), add protection products, secure financing, and place a down payment at Amazon Autos. Customers schedule pickup at the dealership, which occurs within 1 to 3 days of placing a deposit. Dealers send e-contracts prior to pickup, and paperwork that requires a physical signature is completed at pickup.

No. Amazon Autos is an online store that enables dealers to list their vehicles. Our role is to provide a seamless, omnichannel car-buying journey where shoppers can confidently discover and buy the vehicle, while dealers and brands can grow their businesses.
Can customers shop multiple dealers and choose which one they’d like to work with?
Vehicle listings are shown to customers within 75 miles of their zip code. If there are multiple dealers within the set range, the customer would have the ability to choose the dealer they would like to work with.
What role does A2Z Sync play with Amazon Autos?
A2Z Sync integrates your inventory, pricing, and deals with Amazon Autos, giving dealers the visibility and control needed to manage online sales effectively. Through A2Z Sync, dealers can work with their existing systems and workflows while seamlessly managing their vehicles on Amazon Autos.
How are vehicle prices set for listings at Amazon Autos?
Pricing for all vehicles, as well as offsets to protection products and rates, are set by the dealer, through A2Z Sync and through integrations with your existing tech stack. The dealer-set price is what will appear on Amazon Autos.
What if A2Z Sync doesn’t integrate with my current dealership tools?
A2Z Sync integrates with most major Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. If A2Z Sync does not currently integrate with your technology solution, you can still sell cars at Amazon Autos without changing your tech stack.
How does Sell My Car work?
Sell My Car is an add-on for dealers who already list their new, used, or CPO inventory at Amazon Autos. Dealers can opt into the Sell My Car feature in order to work with customers who are looking to sell their car outright. Additionally, these dealers will be able to access the private Amazon Autos auction through ACV.
Does a dealer have to pay to participate in the Sell My Car Beta?
Sell My Car is a feature in Beta available to dealers who already list their inventory at Amazon Autos. We don’t charge a transaction fee or any commission for sales through Amazon Autos. For a limited time, new dealers pay no listing fees for the first 6 months.
What does a dealer do if they are not interested in acquiring a particular vehicle through Sell My Car?
If a customer chooses to sell their car to your dealership and you are not interested in acquiring their used car, simply complete the vehicle inspection through ACV, and send the vehicle to the private Amazon Autos auction.
