Program Eligibility Criteria
Overview
Amazon's Black Business Accelerator (BBA) is dedicated to helping build sustainable growth for Black-owned businesses by explicitly targeting barriers to access, opportunity, and advancement.
Program Eligibility
To enroll in BBA, click on the BBA landing page and then click on “Get started.” Your business must meet and maintain all the following criteria, including:
- A U.S. address located in the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. This must be the same address listed on your Amazon Professional Selling Account;
- A physical products(s) ready to promote and sell in Amazon's US store;
- An active Amazon Professional Seller account, with no fraudulent activity;
- A valid minority-owned business registration or certification uploaded to your Professional Selling Account in Seller Central. BBA accepts businesses registered as minority-owned on the U.S. System for Award Management or certified through SupplierGATEWAY, U.S. Small Business Administration, or the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
Once Amazon verifies your eligibility, you will receive a welcome email with information on how to access BBA resources. You will be required to meet the BBA eligibility criteria for the duration of your participation in BBA, including maintaining an up-to-date minority-owned business registration or certification. Please note that some BBA resources and benefits may have additional eligibility requirements that will be listed at time of launch. Participation in BBA is subject to Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement - Amazon Seller Central, Conditions of Use - Amazon Customer Service, and Amazon.com Privacy Notice - Amazon Customer Service. We may also choose to change or cease to offer Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator in accordance to your seller agreement, including the relevant notice provision.
