What’s the difference between an app and a service?
Apps are software that integrates with Amazon Marketplace Web Services or Selling Partner APIs to automate and scale your business. Services augment in-house capabilities by providing things like storage and international shipping.
Do apps integrate with Seller Central?
Some apps are stand-alone and others integrate directly with Seller Central, but all apps have access to the same data offered by Marketplace Web Services and Selling Partner APIs.
How does Amazon vet third-party apps and services?
Amazon reviews all Software and Service Partners upon registration and listing, as well as continuously monitors performance to ensure apps and services are compliant with Amazon policies.
Where can I find support for my third-party app or service?
Please contact the Software or Service Partner directly for any technical support or customer service questions. Amazon is not directly involved in the development or sale of third-party apps or services. We encourage all users of software and services to leave ratings and reviews in the Seller Central Partner Network.
What’s the cost of apps or services?
Software and Service Partners set their own prices. Pricing information is available on the specific app or service detail page.
Who is eligible to leave a review on the Seller Central Partner Network?
Only verified users of an app or service and after using the app or service for some time may leave a review for that application.
How are ratings calculated?
Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness.
