Who is eligible to sell with Amazon Subscription Boxes?
At this time, Amazon Subscription Box sellers must be able to offer a fully-assembled curated subscription box with the ability to support free shipping directly to customers in all 50 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. Sellers must also have an active Professional seller account on Amazon.com in order to start selling, although it is not required to apply to the program.
Who curates the box contents?
Sellers curate, assemble, and ship their subscription boxes directly to customers.
What if I don’t currently have a box but am interested in creating one?
We still want to hear from you! In your application, let us know that you do not yet have a subscription box and provide details around the box concept, operations, and target launch date.
How long after I apply will I be notified of approval?
Applicants will be notified via email of their application status in 7-10 business days.
Do I need a Professional seller account sell with Amazon Subscription Boxes?
While you do not need a Professional Seller account to submit an application, it is required that you create a Professional Seller account in order to join the program. Learn more about becoming a Professional Seller.
Can I use FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) to fulfill my subscription orders?
No. Sellers must ship their subscription boxes directly to customers.
What categories can I sell in with Amazon Subscription Boxes?
We support the sale of subscription boxes across all of Amazon’s product categories. More than 20 categories are open for selling on Amazon; products in these categories can be listed without specific permission from Amazon. Some categories have additional guidelines that sellers must follow. You may list subscription products in any category in which you are authorized to sell. Learn more about product categories
What are the costs associated with Amazon Subscription Boxes?

Can I manage single items and subscriptions from the same seller account?
Yes. Amazon Subscription Box sellers will have access to subscription-specific tools in addition to standard functionality provided with a Professional seller account to manage both subscription-based and standard product listings.
I ship all boxes together during a specific time each month, can I still sell on Amazon?
Yes. Amazon Subscription Box sellers have the option of fulfilling orders on a rolling basis as new subscriptions are generated or in batches all at once at the same time each month (i.e., 15th of the month).
Can I list my subscription boxes in other Amazon stores (e.g., Amazon.ca/Amazon.co.uk)?
Amazon Subscription Boxes is currently only available through Amazon.com.
