Amazon launched new seller incentives in March 2022. A suite of benefits worth more than $50,000 in potential value, New Seller Incentives increases new sellers’ probability of success through offering discounts and credits to adopt Amazon’s Perfect Launch Playbook
. The playbook is a set of programs backed by data science and designed to help fuel seller growth.
New seller incentives’ headline benefit is the new brand owner bonus
, which rewards brand owners who register their brands on Amazon with up to $50,000 in bonuses (5% on first $1 million on eligible branded sales). Other incentives include credits for Vine, Transparency, Sponsored Products, and Coupons, as well as inbounding credits and auto-enrollment into the FBA New Selection program.
These credits and discounts have a meaningful impact on seller economics in the early days of starting one’s business on Amazon. Sellers who launch January 1, 2022 or later in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Japan are eligible, including existing sellers newly expanding into US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, or Japan.
