Step 1

See if you prequalify

Sign up for a Professional selling account, or log in to Seller Central if you already have one.

Visit the Seller Fulfilled Prime trial registration page to see if you’re prequalified for the trial by fulfilling a minimum number of packages and meeting performance requirements for late-shipment, valid-tracking, and cancellation rates.

If you aren’t prequalified, you can monitor your performance using your business reports and Account Health dashboard, checking back periodically to see if you’ve met the requirements.

Step 2

Register for and pass the trial

Once you’re prequalified, register for the Seller Fulfilled Prime trial.

Participate in the trial for 30 days and meet all performance requirements to pass and become an enrolled seller.

Once enrolled, you gain access to Prime branding for products you fulfill yourself.

Step 3

Maintain your performance

Maintain enrollment in Seller Fulfilled Prime by continuously satisfying the Seller Fulfilled Prime program policy and performance requirements.

To ensure you’re able to successfully maintain on-time delivery for Prime orders, use the Control Prime order volume option to set daily limits for how many same-, one-, and two-day delivery orders customers can place. This limit should reflect the number of orders you can reliably ship each day.

Monitor your ongoing performance using your Seller Fulfilled Prime performance dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the performance requirements for pre-qualification, the trial, and enrollment in Seller Fulfilled Prime?
Trial prequalification
To prequalify for Seller Fulfilled Prime, you must have a domestic US address as your default shipping address and a Professional selling account. You also need to have met prequalification performance requirements.

Passing the trial
To pass the Seller Fulfilled Prime trial, you must participate for 30 days and meet performance requirements.

Maintaining enrollment
To maintain enrollment in Seller Fulfilled Prime, you must continuously meet enrollment performance requirements and satisfy the Seller Fulfilled Prime program policy.
How is the trial different from enrollment?
The trial is a required period prior to enrollment where you demonstrate you can meet the eligibility requirements. During the trial, you have access to a new shipping template with options for one- and two-day delivery speeds. You won’t receive Prime branding for products until you’ve passed the trial and are enrolled in Seller Fulfilled Prime.
What happens if I don’t meet performance requirements after enrollment?
Performance requirements are reviewed on a weekly basis, from Sunday through Saturday. You’ll receive email notices for any requirements you don’t meet. Ongoing failure to meet requirements may lead to Prime offers being disabled and disenrollment from the program. If you later prequalify for the trial period, you can start a new trial to reenroll in the program.

We recommend using your performance dashboard and business reports to identify and understand any performance issues.
Are the performance requirements different for oversize or heavy items?
The expected delivery speed that we offer Prime customers does vary depending on the size tier of the product. There are three size tiers for Seller Fulfilled Prime: standard-size, oversize, and extra large. As you select which products to include in Seller Fulfilled Prime, consider their relevant size tiers and ensure you’re able to meet the expected delivery speeds.
Am I required to store my Seller Fulfilled Prime inventory in a warehouse?
You are not required to use warehouses for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders. Some sellers choose to use available storage space in their homes or use third-party solutions. You can store your inventory wherever works for you and enables you to meet the performance requirements for the program.
How does customer service work for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders?
While sellers handle all pre-order buyer inquiries, Amazon handles all post-order customer service for Prime items. This includes handling returns, refunds, and adjustments to Seller Fulfilled Prime items.

Sellers can also access additional account-health protections by using Amazon Buy Shipping. This includes Amazon refunding costs for claims when customers report that packages don’t arrive.
How can I personalize the Prime orders I fulfill?
You can personalize the Prime orders you fulfill by choosing your own branded packaging or packing materials, or by including personal touches like thank you notes. If you’re able to fulfill customized orders while meeting Prime promises, you can also offer customizable products.
