Showcase your authenticity
Our application and audit processes ensure Handmade features genuine handcrafted products. As an approved maker, you can build a profile to tell customers more about you and your creations.

Step 2
Apply to be a Handmade maker
Confirm you will comply with all Handmade guidelines, then submit your application by entering information about you, your products, and your process.
Step 3
List and classify your products
Once you’re approved to sell with Handmade, add the Handmade Classification attribute to your products using our standard listing processes. This means you’ll indicate whether your product is hand-altered, hand-designed, handcrafted, repurposed, or upcycled.
During listing, you’ll provide a product ID or request a product ID exemption. We recommend optimizing your product discoverability with applicable titles, search terms, and occasion types for each of your listings.

Step 4
Create your maker profile
Your maker profile is a page that’s visible to Amazon customers. By sharing more about your inspiration, your creative process, and the products you make, you can help customers feel more connected to your one-of-a-kind offerings.
Step 5
Expand your business internationally
To reach more customers around the world, you can expand your business to other countries where Handmade stores are available.
You’ll need a selling account for each region, but your Handmade approval extends from one region to another.
Create a separate maker profile for each country you sell in. Your storefront name and images will automatically populate, but you’ll need to translate the descriptive sections.
